“Washington, DC is a crucial world crossroads for the varied set of stakeholders who work together towards fixing water challenges around the globe,” stated Patrick Decker, president and CEO of Xylem. “By locating our world headquarters right here, we place ourselves proper where the water sector is most engaged.”
Decker and numerous senior Xylem leaders shall be primarily based within the new headquarters.
“We’ll have the ability to cut back complexity, with a lean headquarters, at the same time as we build nearer relationships with all those within the international water group working to solve the biggest challenges, and promote global water sustainability,” stated Decker.
Xylem’s new headquarters will be co-located with the Reservoir Center for Water Solutions, a hub for multi-party, water-focused stakeholder collaboration, within the historic Navy Yard district along the Anacostia River. The Reservoir Center for Water Solutions is expected to open in June.
