Hayward Tyler awarded pump contract for ITER fusion project

Hayward Tyler Inc and its sister company Energy Steel have been awarded multi-million greenback contracts to assist the ITER challenge in France.

Hayward Tyler’s contract covers variable drive booster pumps whereas Energy Steel will supply sixty two solenoid valve and cubicle packages.
The ITER challenge is a joint international research and development challenge to demonstrate the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion power. The demonstration facility is beneath building in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and will be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the planet.
