Hayward Tyler Inc and its sister company Energy Steel have been awarded multi-million dollar contracts to support the ITER challenge in France.

Hayward Tyler’s contract covers variable drive booster pumps while Energy Steel will provide sixty two solenoid valve and cubicle packages.
The ITER challenge is a joint international analysis and improvement venture to demonstrate the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion power. The demonstration facility is underneath development in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and will be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the planet.

Hayward Tyler and Energy Steel are both part of the Engineered Pumps and Motors Division of Avingtrans plc.
