FCI provides move swap to protect from dry operating

FCI’s FLT93 Series flow switch reliably monitors the circulate and temperature of liquids, gases, and slurries. It is designed for pump wet/dry detection, where sudden, surprising reductions in media circulate rates can depart pumps susceptible to over-heating situations that shutdown process lines and require troubleshooting and fixing. The SIL2 rated instrument is meant for heavy-duty, probably hazardous process business environments and comes with a complete record of world security approvals.
It has a no moving parts design and presents a strong scheme for pump safety with its twin alarm capability. With Alarm 1, the swap detects a low flow situation wherever between 0.01 and three ft per second FPS (0.003–0.9 m per second MPS). This low circulate alarm is a pre-warning signal for the management system or operator who can then decide to maintain the pump working or to close it down.
If an Alarm 2 happens as a result of the feed line to the pump is running dry, this may be an emergency sign to shut down the pump immediately as a result of the bearings now see gas as a substitute of a liquid as a warmth transfer media. In such conditions, the temperature of the bearings could rise very fast. Using ไดอะแฟรม ซีล prevents permanent damage to the pump’s bearings.
