AxFlow Germany is increasing its service business in Switzerland with the acquisition of Geneva-based Ateliers Ehrismann SA.
Founded in 1923, Ateliers Ehrismann providers electrical motors, pumps and other electrical and mechanical equipment. The company also provides frequency converters and manufactures mechanical spare parts and electromechanical prototypes. Ateliers Ehrismann is ATEX licensed for the restore of electrical motors and holds a permanent inventory of electric motors, frequency converters and spare elements for complete pump overhauls.
“The acquisition of Ateliers Ehrismann will make a fantastic addition to AxFlow and is in line with our business group strategy to proceed to expand our service enterprise,” said Ole Weiner, CEO of AxFlow Holding.
“Ateliers is a leader in their local niche market and has a prominent market recognition,” stated Georg Niebch, managing director of AxFlow Germany. “With Ateliers Ehrismann on board we see an opportunity for gross sales synergies by increasing the distribution of AxFlow’s products and services to clients in the region, whereas on the similar time offering a good better service offering to our existing clients in Switzerland that we look after from our gross sales office in Muttenz.”
