The 30 deepwell gasoline pumps shall be delivered between August 2022 and January 2024.
This is considered one of Svanehøj’s largest LNG fuel-related orders thus far. It is also the second LNG gasoline pump techniques order that Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding has placed with Svanehøj in the last year. In July 2021, Svanehøj signed a contract to offer deepwell pumps for 10 dual-fuel LNG container vessels (15 000 TEU).
Svanehøj quadrupled gross sales of its patented deepwell fuel pumps in 2021, and says there are many indications that sales may enhance even additional in 2022.
“Until a few years ago, using LNG as a marine gasoline was limited to LNG carriers and smaller ships. But we at the moment are seeing a pointy enhance in gas pump orders for deep sea vessels similar to container ships and car carriers,” mentioned Johnny Houmann, chief sales officer at Svanehøj. “We had been chosen as the provider of gas pump methods for over 50% of the dual-fuel LNG container vessels ordered globally in 2020–21. And we goal to increase our market share further within the coming years.”
