Pre-requisite for the course would come with both four yrs irrigation design or pump experience, or completion of a primary pump coaching course.

TheThe Pumping System Master Class highlights superior design techniques for pump and pipeline selection which explores the distinctive relationship between Hazen and Williams friction coefficients (C) and bore roughness (K), hydraulic optimisation and pumping energy effectivity. The course covers electric, diesel and solar powered pumps. Numerous free issued software program APPs assist participants to calculate and nice tune pump and pipeline necessities and empowers them to adapt the course materials to their work initiatives.

Once the farmer’s pump and pipeline are selected, consideration is given to pump station design, together with inside pipework, valves, filters (energy efficiency), flowmeters, corrosion prevention, ladders. Work, Health and Safety is themed all through the course.
