TheThe Pumping System Master Class highlights superior design strategies for pump and pipeline selection which explores the distinctive relationship between Hazen and Williams friction coefficients (C) and bore roughness (K), hydraulic optimisation and pumping power efficiency. The course covers electrical, diesel and solar powered pumps. Once the farmer’s pump and pipeline are selected, consideration is given to pump station design, together with inside pipework, valves, filters (energy efficiency), flowmeters, corrosion prevention, ladders. Work, Health and Safety is themed all through the course.
